Fundraising for a new community arts and music space.
Last year we applied to Aviva for funding for our garden project. We were unsuccessful but Aviva donated £500 towards the project and this year invited us to take part in their crowdfunding project. Two of our governors have put together a bid, which is now live. The aim of our project is to replace our current music room and provide a community space for music and arts education to promote good mental health. There is also a facebook group and a HeArt of Silkstone page, to share information. If you are able to please share this widely. It would be absolutely amazing to be able to replace the temporary classroom, which is beyond repair with a fantastic space for learning. Thank you to Claire and Sophy for all your hard work on the bid and all the pupil presenters.
